Scott Ackerson is Quidient’s Chief Executive. Quidient is Scott’s third 3D imaging product company, the other two being SpatialMetriX (SMX) Corporation and Dimensional Photonics, International (DPI). SMX had a successful exit with FARO Technologies (NASDAQ) … DPI had a successful exit with Danaher (NYSE)). Over a four-year period, Scott built SMX to 100 coworkers with running revenues of $20+ million.

Scott holds more than a dozen patents. He is an expert in dimensional metrology. Scott holds a master’s degree in Business Management and Technology from Wharton and Penn Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. Early in his Navy career, Scott served as an Officer in the U.S. Submarine force.
